6 Best Bluetooth Speakers with Stands in 2024

1. Best Bluetooth Speaker Set with Stands Under $250 – Rockville RPG122K

Rockville RPG122K

Check Price on Amazon

Check Price on Walmart

Rockville is probably best-known for its car subwoofers, car amps, and marine speakers, but they also make large PA and DJ speaker systems. Their PRG122K is an affordable and highly versatile Bluetooth speaker set with stands and it’s our top recommendation if your limit is set at $250.

Things we like

The packaging contains two speakers (one active + one passive), two speaker stands, remote, audio cable (for connecting two speakers together), wired mic, and user manual.

The speakers feature a simple boxy shape with rounded edges. The enclosures are quite compact and light. They are made of thick ABS and have a strong metal grille on the front. Considering the price, durability is more than satisfying. The included tripod stands have steel construction and are also very durable.

Each speaker houses one 12in long-throw woofer and 2in aluminum tweeter. The passive speaker has only a speaker-out connection on the back (for connecting to the active speaker). All the inputs and controls are located on the back panel of the active speaker.

At the top of the control panel, there’s an LCD display, micro SD card slot, USB input (for music playback only), playback controls, mode/input button, and EQ button (6 EQ presets). Some playback buttons are also multifunctional– they are used for Bluetooth pairing and scanning FM stations

Below the display, you have a series of inputs and volume controls for each input – two XLR mic inputs and two 6.35mm mic inputs (+ two mic volume dials), RCA line-in ports (for connecting analog audio sources), RCA line-out ports (for daisy-chaining additional speakers), master volume dial, and bass/treble dials.

At the bottom, there’s a speaker-out port (for connecting the passive speaker), voltage switch (110V/220V), power input, and power switch.

The number of options for music playback is truly impressive. You have analog inputs (RCA), mic inputs (XLR and 6.35mm), USB input, micro SD card input, and FM receiver. And it also has Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection range is mediocre but the connection is pretty stable and reliable within that range.

The sound signature is bass-oriented. The bass response is hefty and quite powerful. The lower midrange gets drowned by the bass when bass-heavy tracks are played but it’s not too annoying. In fact, it’s a pretty good sound signature for parties but not perfect for critical listening

The EQ button allows you to choose one of six available presets – normal, country, classic, jazz, rock, and pop. Each speaker delivers 250W continuously (500W RMS in total). They can be quite loud, even at moderate volumes. At extremely high volumes (more than 90%), the sound gets distorted, especially if bass-heavy songs are played.

Things we don’t like

The included microphone is cheap and plasticky – it looks like a toy. It’s good enough for your private karaoke sessions but you should probably buy something better (and more durable) for real parties. Also, the mic cable is short and made of low-quality materials.

The Bluetooth range is mediocre – it’s recommended to stay within 15ft while streaming music.

2. Best Bluetooth Speaker with Stand Under $150 – Acoustic Audio by Goldwood AA15LBS

Acoustic Audio by Goldwood AA15LBS

Check Price on Walmart

Acoustic Audio by Goldwood is one of the most popular and highest-rated Bluetooth speakers with stands. It’s a fairly affordable and feature-rich party speaker with numerous inputs and outputs and great overall performance. The speaker is perfect for parties, DJing, karaoke, and tailgating.

Things we like

The speaker comes with an adjustable speaker stand, power cable, wired mic, remote, and user manual.

Acoustic Audio is a simple-looking, suitcase-like speaker. The dimensions (WxHxD) are 16x27x14in. The thing that makes this speaker special is the built-in LED lighting around the woofer. It really adds to the style and improves the visual appearance. The speaker has strong handles on the left and right sides, and it also has wheels on the bottom and a telescoping handle on the top. Transportation will not be an issue. The speaker

The front panel is entirely covered with a black aluminum grille. Behind the grille, there is one 15in woofer and one 2in tweeter.

On the back, there’s a large control panel. This speaker has so many inputs and outputs. You can play music from a micro SD card, from a USB drive, or from any analog audio source (via AUX or via RCA input). The speaker also has two mic inputs (6.35mm and XLR). One of these inputs (6.35mm) can also be used as a guitar amp. This is not the end. The speaker also features Bluetooth connectivity and has a built-in FM receiver. If you want louder sound, you can daisy chain two speakers together thanks to RCA line outputs.

AA15LBS has a dedicated volume knob for each mic. There are also dials for the line-level input and master volume, as well as echo dial. Along with all the dials, there are dedicated playback controls, input selectors, and a 5-band equalizer.

The speaker delivers quite an impressive performance and it can get very loud. The max power output is rated at 1000W. The sound is bass-heavy, which makes it perfect for parties. The mids are not very clear due to such a strong bass emphasis. The highs are articulate and consistent.

The included mic is far from great but it’s fun to use. It’s good enough for private karaoke parties.

Things we don’t like

The remote looks really cheap. It’s the same kind of remote you get when you buy a cheap lightbulb speaker.

If you consider yourself an audiophile, you won’t be amazed by the sound. It’s perfect for parties but it’s bad for critical listening.

3. Best Party Bluetooth Speaker with Stand Under $400 – JBL Professional IRX-112BT

JBL Professional IRX-112BT

Check Price on Amazon

Check Price on Walmart

IRX-112BT is an excellent choice for all kinds of parties (indoor and outdoor). Pair two of these and you can easily host a party for 200+ people.

Things we like

JBL IRX-112BT is a boxy powered speaker with a very rugged exterior. It’s made of thick plastic and it feels quite durable. On the right side, there’s a strong handle for easy transportation. Considering the power output and loudness, the speaker is fairly compact and lightweight. It’s15.8in wide, 24.4in tall, 11.8in deep, and it weighs less than 28lbs.

On the front side, there’s a strong inflexible grille with a honeycomb pattern covering and protecting 12in woofer.

On the bottom, the speaker has a built-in 35mm pole mount, which expands the number of different setup options.

On the back of the speaker, there’s a nice-looking control panel. At the top, there’s the EQ preset button and four EQ LED indicators (music/vocal/speech/flat). Below these LEDs, there’s an array of buttons for some special features – bass boost, AFS (Automatic Feedback Suppression), Music Ducking button, and Bluetooth pairing button. The Ducking feature is designed by the Soundcraft and it is supposed to lower the music volume automatically when speech is detected.

The speaker has two XLR/6.35mm combo inputs for connecting mics and audio sources. There’s also one XLR male connection (loop thru) for connecting another speaker to it.

The speaker features Bluetooth 5.0. Wireless connection delivers flawless performance with an excellent range (50ft +) and it’s very reliable.

The speaker’s power output is rated at 1,300W (peak) and the max SPL is 129dB. The sound signature is very bass-heavy. The mids are slightly suppressed but not too muddy. The highs are clear and dynamic. All in all, JBL IRX-112BT is just a perfect choice for all kinds of parties.

Things we don’t like

Even though it’s pricier than other brands, this JBL speaker doesn’t come with any additional equipment. It has a mounting hole and XLR mic inputs, but the stand and mics are sold separately.

4. Best Bluetooth Speaker Set with Stands Under $300 – PRORECK PARTY 15

PRORECK PARTY 15

Check Price on Amazon

Check Price on Walmart

PRORECK is another generic brand. Their speakers are usually affordable and offer the performance that exceeds the price tag. Also, they are usually very feature-rich. PRORECK PARTY 15 is the perfect example.

Things we like

PARTY 15 speakers come in pairs (active + passive). The packaging also includes the remote, a wired mic, power cable, audio cable (for connecting active and passive speaker), and two stands.

The speakers are simple and boxy. They are made of hard plastic but don’t look as rugged as the previously reviewed JBL speaker. The woofers have built-in lighting with four available colors (red, blue, green, purple). The speakers are compact and fairly light (considering the dimensions). The transportation is easy – you have handles on the left and right side, as well as wheels on the bottom.

The passive speaker has only one input (for connecting to the active speaker) and one switch for the LED lighting. All the other controls and inputs are on the active speaker. Most of the inputs and all the controls are on the front panel, right at the top. From left to right, the speaker has mic input (unbalanced), RCA input, and three dedicated volume dials (mic vol, line-in volume, master volume). In the middle, there’s a graphic 5-band equalizer (+/-12dB). On the right end of the panel, there’s a small display surrounded with inputs (USB port, micro SD card slot), and playback controls. On the rear panel of the active speaker, you have RCA line inputs (for connecting another audio source) and line outputs (for connecting an additional speaker).

As you can see, you have numerous options for music playback – two RCA inputs, USB input, micro SD card input. The speaker also has an FM receiver and it features Bluetooth connectivity. For karaoke parties and PA purposes, there’s the included wired mic.

The speakers are fairly powerful and loud (200W RMS). Inside each speaker, there is one 15in woofer and one 1.35in titanium tweeter. As you can assume, this speaker set is all about the bass. So, if you are a fan of bass-heavy music, you are going to love it. The treble is also pretty detailed and consistent.

Things we don’t like

The included remote looks and feels very cheap. The same goes for the included mic. However, that’s not a huge downside at this price point.

As mentioned, this speaker set is all about the bass. If you prefer a more balanced sound signature, you should probably try something else.

5. Best High-End Bluetooth PA Speaker – Bose S1 Pro

Bose S1 Pro

Check Price on Amazon

Check Price on Walmart

The next Bluetooth speaker on our list of 6 best Bluetooth speakers with stands comes from Bose. Like all the Bose audio gear, it looks great, it delivers very good performance, and it’s very expensive. One of the special things about this speaker is that it comes with a rechargeable battery. The speaker can be mounted on a stand but the stand is not included.

Things we like

S1 Pro comes with the S1 battery (rechargeable and replaceable), Shure PGA48 wired mic, one XLR audio cable, and user manual.

It’s not a surprise but it has to be said – Bose gear really looks stylish. The speaker is angular, which allows you to position it in different ways (on a side, elevated on a stand, tilted backward). The housing is made of thick ABS and the grille protecting the drivers is hard and inflexible.

On the left side of the speaker, there’s a large panel with two XLR/6.35 combo inputs. Each input can be used for connecting a microphone or for connecting a guitar or a keyboard. Also, each of these two inputs has dedicated REVERB, BASS, TREBLE, and VOLUME controls.

Below the combo inputs, there’s an AUX input and Bluetooth pairing button. And, of course, there’s a volume dial for AUX and Bluetooth audio sources.

Below the AUX input, you have the line output (for connecting another speaker) and a micro USB service port. At the bottom, there’s the AC input and power switch.

As you can see, S1 Pro comes with numerous connections and allows you to enjoy music in many different ways. One of the best things about it is that it comes with a replaceable/rechargeable battery. The advertised playtime is 11h (at moderate volumes). At full blast, you should get at least 4 hours.

The speaker also has the auto-EQ feature. This feature changes the tone to provide the best possible experience depending on the speaker position/placement.

The speaker is fairly loud but not as loud as the previous ones. Also, it’s not as bassy as other large Bluetooth speakers with stands. The sound signature is quite neutral with punchy bass, clear and articulate mids, and crystal-clear highs.

Things we don’t like

The speaker is quite expensive but still doesn’t come with a stand. You have to buy it separately. The good news is that you can get one for 30 bucks.

Pyle is best known for its affordable speakers, home theater, systems, and soundbars. Their PPHP849KT is our top choice when it comes to Bluetooth speaker sets with stands under $200. For the price, these speakers offer very good performance and excellent versatility.

Things we like

The packaging includes two speakers (one active + one passive), 2 stands, remote, wired microphone, 6.35mm audio cable, and a power cable.

Both speakers have the same boxy design and they both look like some stylish black suitcases. On the bottom of each speaker, there’s a mounting hole for stands. Also, each speaker has strong carrying handles on the left and right panels. The drivers are on the front and are protected with a strong aluminum grille. Each speaker houses 8in woofer and 1in titanium tweeter.

On the back of the passive speaker, there’s just one connection for connecting the active speaker. All the other controls and inputs are on the rear panel of the active speaker. At the top, there’s a simple LCD display, micro SD card slot, USB input (for music playback only), playback controls, mode/input, and pairing button.

In the middle, there’s a series of inputs with dedicated volume controls – XLR/6.35mm mic input with a mic volume dial, two analog inputs (AUX and 6.35mm) with their volume controls. The speaker also features bass and treble dials as well as the master volume dial.

At the bottom, there’s the power input, power switch, and SPEAKER OUT (for connecting the passive speaker).

As you can see, you have numerous options when it comes to playback. You can play your favorite tunes from a USB drive or from a micro SD card. You can connect any audio source with analog 3.5mm and 6.35mm outputs. Also, there’s the FM tuner (but the FM reception is quite poor). On top of all these connections, you have Bluetooth. The wireless connection is mediocre – the range is approx. 30ft and the connection is fairly reliable within this range.

Recommended Reading :

For the price, Pyle PPHP849KT delivers pleasant and enjoyable sound. It’s punchy but not extremely bass-heavy. The midrange reproduction is fairly accurate and dynamic. The highs are somewhat brighter but very engaging. It’s not the most neutral sound and the emphasis is on the bass but it’s not too bassy. The speaker’s peak power output is 700W (350W RMS) and the sensitivity is 92dB. The max SPL is 118dB.

Things we don’t like

Unlike similar Bluetooth speakers with stands, Pyle PPHP849KT speakers don’t have built-in lighting.

The included remote is not on par with the rest of the equipment – it looks cheap and fragile.

Comparison Table

This was our list of 6 best Bluetooth speakers with stands in 2024. Hopefully, it helped you find the right speaker for your needs. If you want to find out more, please read our FAQ section. If you have any additional questions or want to share your experience, feel free to leave a comment.

FAQs

Q: What is the best Bluetooth speaker with a stand for sound quality?

A: There’s no single answer to this question. It all depends on your requirements. Do you want a smaller or a larger speaker? Do you want a speaker with multiple mic inputs? What kind of area do you want to cover with these speakers? Your choice depends on all these questions. We have tried to include all kinds of speakers with all kinds of connections so you should be able to find something that fits your needs in our list of 6 best Bluetooth speakers with stands in 2024.

Q: Can you DJ with a Bluetooth speaker?

A: Well, it’s not the most common way, but you absolutely can. You just have to think about the distance between the transmitter and the speakers (preferably not more than a 10-15ft). Also, keeping a clear line of sight between the transmitter and the speaker is recommended (in order to prevent any sudden signal dropouts).

Q: What speakers are best for DJing?

A: Well, as always, we recommend you to stick to trusted brands. The only problem with trusted and reputable brands is that their speakers are pricier than less-known or generic brands. Less-known manufacturers usually make cheaper speakers but that doesn’t mean they are all bad. In fact, some of them are really good and their performance significantly surpasses the price tag. We made sure to include some of those on our list, too. So, whether you are looking for the best possible speaker or for an affordable Bluetooth speaker with great performance, our list of 6 best Bluetooth speakers with stands has something to offer.

Q: Is 500 watts loud enough for a party?

A: In many cases, a pair of 500W speakers is more than enough to cover large areas (even in the open space). If you are interested in extremely loud speakers, you should check out our article on the loudest Bluetooth speakers.

Q: What is the loudest Bluetooth party speaker?

A: Our top choices when it comes to loud and powerful Bluetooth speakers are SOUNDBOKS (all three speakers), BumpBoxx UpRock V1S, and DiamondBoxx XL. You could also try some of the JBL Partybox speakers, larger Sony XB speakers with lights, or even some ION Audio tailgate speakers.

Q: What should I look for when buying a Bluetooth speaker with stands?

A: Most of the things you should look for are the same for any Bluetooth speaker. We always look for a speaker that fits our budget and our sound preferences. When looking for a party speaker it’s also recommended to look for a large, loud, and rugged speaker. If you like the lights, you should also look for a speaker with lighting

Since you’re looking for a Bluetooth speaker, it’s always recommended to check the Bluetooth version and other Bluetooth specs (supported profiles and audio codecs, range, reliability, etc.).

If you’re buying a large portable speaker, you should also look for something with wheels, or at least with some strong carrying handles. And don’t forget the battery – you need something with a powerful and long-lasting battery

Finally, if you’re buying DJ or stage speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and stands, be sure to check all the inputs/outputs and see if the connections match your existing equipment.
